If you had a chance to read our story, you know that Natalie & Rachel became the first hair & makeup team with Avenue 42.  For three years, they refused to bring additional stylists onboard, for fear of compromising a legacy of superior service and quality.

However, in 2011, demand for the team was skyrocketing and they knew it was time to expand.  Thus, they decided to develop teams of beauty experts through a process of talent-scouting and training in an effort to meet the ever-growing demand for beauty professionals. Both Natalie and Rachel knew that their decision to expand was an opportunity to serve the community in a meaningful way.

Today, Avenue 42 artists are hand-selected by Natalie & Rachel and must show excellence in the aesthetic of their craft; they must also display professionalism, a positive attitude, and have team spirit!  We know the quality of our work is measured by the extent to which we perform in all of these areas.

• Rachel is a Richmond native and graduate of Monacan High School.  She resides on the city's south-side with her two golden retrievers and two-year old daughter, Leighton.
